Strange laptop problem.. No idea what to do.. Please help!?

Please read! .. I have an HP Laptop. Yesterday when I turned it on, it went to a black screen and said something about a hard disk? And power or startup? I don't remember. I think it tried to fix itself, but since then, when I turn on the computer, it only stays on for about 60 seconds or so, then restarts itself, and the cycle goes on and on.. It does the same thing in Safe Mode with Networking, but it WILL stay on in normal Safe Mode. Today I decided to try to start the computer up normally, but when it pulls up, turn the wifi off.. I found that that works. The computer will stay on in normal mode as long as the wifi is turned off. A few seconds after you turn it on and it connects to the Internet, it restarts itself. Does that mean a virus is attacking the computer once it connects to Internet? Or something else maybe??

For a while, a Microsoft notification would pop up asking for permission to make changes to the computer, and for a while I said no.. Yesterday I finally said yes to it.. It was Microsoft's Malicious Software Removal Tool, and it said that it partially removed a Trojan, and for me to run an anti-virus software to finish removing it. Which, I could not do, because my Norton 360 will not pull up. I click it, and it does nothing. Sometimes it will pull up for a second, then x's out of itself and won't pull back up. (This is when the WIFI is turned on.) In Safe Mode (without networking, I.e. - no Internet), I ran a full system scan with Norton (the only thing it'll let me do when I click Norton) and it said no risks were detected.
I have tried pressing F8 a few times when it starts up and going to that black screen (to go to safe mode), and tried system repair a few times, but that did nothing. I've tried the one where it goes back to the last settings it worked correctly at, and that did nothing. I have no idea what to do, and don't really have the money to take it to a shop or pay for online help.. Is there anything I can do?

Basically.. Whatever is wrong, only happens when it's connected to the internet. Otherwise, the computer will stay on without restarting or anything. But once you turn on WiFi and it connects to the internet, it restarts itself, and the cycle goes on and on until you turn WiFi off..

The virus or threats which might present in your system and it might be activated when you are connecting to a network or Internet. Once run a Trojan remover software and reset the windows policies and if problem persists you need to format and install OS freshly or contact the service centre they will recover the data or restore you laptop settings to factory settings.

Recover invisible data from pen drive (Not hidden)?

I have some data(pics, videos & docs) in my pen drive that is not hidden. When i see the properties it shows that 4.25 Gb space has been used by the data in it but when i open the pen drive it doesn't show anything in the drive but when i tried checking the same in DOS, it is showing all the files that i know i copied in pendrive few days back. I even tried to copy all the content of pendrive into some other drive on my machine but that doesn't work either. Please help me to recover the data as I'm in a dire need to save all such content.

invisible data in usb drive
Your pendrive might be infected with virus or after scanning there might be threats are still there in pendrive. You might need to know first whether the threats are there in pendrive or not. Scan with a different antivirus. If found it will be cleaned. you might don't know that some viruses changes the attribute to the hidden or invisible or locked. there are so many ways to get the files back.

One way is quick format your pen drive, don't do this steps in your PC, connect your pen drive to other PC. After formatting disconnect it. download the recover my files software's  It is one for the best software's which I used every time for data recovery. When I loss the 500 GB of data which in mistake I deleted partition while installing OS. So I got full version of Recover My Files and installed it, this software recovered all the data. One more thing is that if you lost data or formatted a pendrive long back (about 1 month) ago it is not possible to recover the data. If in case it is not used from the formatted time your data will be recovered.

So many software's are available on the Internet to recover data, which I decided this is the best one. If you are trying from DOS, try to copy the data using DOS commands. Might be your PC is infected the Virus check or scan the whole PC with Norton Internet Security, Symantec provides the Trial version of software's for 30 days. You can try it or if You can afford buy full version.

Try to Recover before Reinstall

Now a days, laptops has loaded lots of stuff, which include security, recover and mainly data restoration developed a lot, these days, laptops's included with inbuilt recover options which doesn't have dvd drive, you can recover from these options instead reinstall of OS and on the home screen itself, manufacturers mention recover option (i.e when you switch on the laptop)

So, you this option instead of reinstall, but do at your own risk because so many laptop manufacturers applies these restore or recover of os to c drive or os installed drive.. but some they apply these recover or restore option to all drives, when you do restore you will loss the data... so be careful.

Total Data deleted on drive, but still showing 1% free space?

This might be lead to problem due to virus on pc

lets see some points.

first thing have you deleted all the data ensure that no hidden content in the drive, if data deleted including hidden files, check the the properties, if still showing one percent free space, then install good antivirus and update it scan the whole computer and still showing the same

and you need to take own risk to delete driver

please request do these at your own risk.

right click on my computer>go to manage>then to disk management>wil dispalys the hardisk and drives and select on appropriate drive (you can't delete the c drive from here) and if you dont have important data, right click on the appropriate drive and select delete.

then the drive is deleted and now free space is available and again right click on it and click create drive and follow the instructions and the drive will be created and check the properties.

if want to know more leave a comment, thank you.....
